Student speaking to support staff member

We define a care leaver as a young person who has been in Local Authority care, including public care, foster care, semi-independent living, or residential care homes.

We define an estranged student as a young person, under the age of 25, who has been classified as an independent student on the grounds of estrangement by Student Finance England (SFE).

Westminster offers a variety of both pastoral and financial support for you, including priority accommodation (when available) and external scholarships i.e. Unite Foundation, bursaries, tutorial, and employability support.
