Applications for two United Nations Migration Agency (also known as the International Organization for Migration - IOM) internship positions in Geneva and Tunis are open until Friday 6 November 2026.

The University’s funded, long-term internship programme with the United Nations International Organization for Migration (UN-IOM) is open to all second year, final year and Postgraduate Westminster students to apply. Please note that the programme is not open to first year or foundation students.
These opportunities are exclusive to Westminster students thanks to a collaboration agreement signed between the University and the United Nations Migration Agency in 2022.
Since the start of the collaboration, the programme has offered nearly 400 months of funded internships to Westminster students and graduates from a wide range of disciplines: from International Relations and Law, to Biological Sciences and Data Management.
This is the fifth year of this successful, funded internship programme that has been described as ‘life-changing’ by previous interns, many of whom now work as consultants and staff at the UN-IOM following the end of their internships.
You can read about the inspiring experiences of recent interns.
As part of the programme, the successful candidates will receive funding support from the University to cover their expenses during these long-term (6-9 month) internships.
