On Wednesday 10 June, the Careers and Enterprise team were proud to host this year’s Westminster Awards Celebration.

The event brought together over 150 students, colleagues, and employers to celebrate achievements across a range of Westminster's career initiatives, including the Westminster Award, Talent Bank, Placements, Future Ready Mentoring, Global Mobility, Sustainability, Volunteering, and more.
The evening provides a wonderful opportunity to celebrate students who have successfully participated in a range of career initiatives, and hear from speakers representing the various schemes.
We would also like to extend a special thank you to Graham Hobson for their generous donation towards the Outstanding Contribution prizes. Their support has enabled us to recognise and reward students who have gone above and beyond in their engagement with the Westminster Award and their wider contribution to university life.
Megha Manoj, a Postgraduate Student from the MSc International Finance and Banking course and winner of the Westminster Personal Development Award, said:
Being involved in different activities and events through the award has helped me improve my networking skills and socialise more effectively. I have also become more focused on my career goals, particularly in improving and tailoring my CV for future opportunities.
Overall, the Westminster Award has had a very positive impact on my personal and professional development, and it has encouraged me to take on opportunities I would not have considered before.
