Come join us for the largest gathering of practitioners from across the sector for our annual festival of digital accessibility.
Description
The Digital Accessibility (DigAcc) conferences have established themselves as the key event in the year for all of us working in the field, attracting hundreds of participants. This year promises to be bigger and better than ever!
We will be running the event in a distributed conference format. A network of local events on the day will provide an opportunity for colleagues from different institutions to come together to build relationships and to share their experiences.
The conference is split into 4 sessions across three parallel themes, each of which has its own programme. The full programme is now available to help you plan which talks you want to attend.
Westminster once again has several great talks as part of this year’s agenda, and we are delighted to be welcoming this year’s keynote speaker, the Rt Hon Sir Stephen Timms (Minister for Social Security and Disability). The Minister will be closing out the conference with a collaborative session discussing the conference theme of Accessible Technology, an insight into the Government's next steps to engage voices within the accessibility and disability communities and a panel session alongside industry expert voices Stuart Lawler (Sight and Sound Technologies) and Rachel Morgan (Team GB Blind Tennis Champion and PhD researcher).
This event is available both online and in person. All students are welcome to join.
How to join
This is a distributed conference, so you can sign up and listen to all of the talks completely free online.
If you want to join us in person, there are limited spaces to attend the London Local Hub event at Cavendish Campus.
