Come and join us for a workshop exploring endometriosis, adenomyosis and chronic pelvic pain, bringing together people with lived experience, medical professionals and charities to discuss current care, share research findings and explore how we can better support affected students and staff.

About this event
This event held at the New Cavendish campus will involve talks from individuals with lived experiences of endometriosis or adenomyosis as well as talks from charity organisations and medical professionals in the field in order to understand the current state of endometriosis care in the UK and identify challenges to target with future research.
Study findings from a recent survey conducted at the University of Westminster will be presented and attendees will be welcome to provide feedback as well as discuss important aspects to study in future endometriosis research at Westminster. The aim of this workshop is to spread awareness of endometriosis and adenomyosis as well as the profound impact of chronic pelvic pain. We will also aim to discuss avenues for support at the university and if there is anything additional that the university can do to support students and staff suffering with endometriosis, adenomyosis or chronic pelvic pain.
Lastly, this workshop will inform a large UK wide survey on chronic pelvic pain and experiences of healthcare access in a diverse UK population.
This event is run by Women of Westminster in partnership with Laura Melliti and Dr Natasha Ramachandran.
