Body composition (Bodpod)
The BodPod is a highly accurate, non-intrusive, extremely rapid method of measuring total body fat and lean mass. You sit comfortably in a chamber for 2-3 minutes while your total body fat percentage is calculated by measuring the volume of displaced air around you.
Resting metabolic rate (RMR)
An understanding of your energy needs provides a sound scientific basis for any weight loss or maintenance plan. This technique, which involves resting on a bed for 40 minutes combined with an assessment of your daily lifestyle energy requirements, will provide an accurate assessment of your daily caloric needs. This can then be matched with your energy intake if you are wishing to lose, maintain or gain weight.
Blood testing - metabolic profile
The blood test includes cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL, HDL/LDL ratio, glucose.
Please note this is a fasting test (12 hours)
