About me
Since joining the University in 2010, Dr Rebecca Wang has held several academic and leadership roles, including Course Leader, Director of Learning, Teaching and Quality, Assistant Head of School in the School of Organisations, Economy and Society, and elected WBS representative on the University’s Academic Council. Her work focuses on academic leadership, strategic and operational development, staff development, curriculum enhancement and strengthening student experience. She contributes to University‑wide governance through her role on the Curriculum Validation Standing Panel and her previous service on Teaching Committees. She also works with professional bodies and industry partners to promote experiential and employer‑facing learning.

Teaching
Dr Rebecca Wang was Course Leader for the MA/MSc International Business and Management (IBM) from 2013–2021, overseeing programme development and management, quality assurance, recruitment, student experience and continuous review. She strengthened employability skills and experiential learning within the curriculum through the provision of domestic and international study trips. She taught Business Research Methods and the Project module at postgraduate level, as well as undergraduate modules in business and management. She has successfully supervised PhD candidates to completion, all of whom have progressed into academic positions at UK universities.
