About me
I have been a Researcher at the University of Westminster since the 1990s and over this time I have specialised in a number of technical and economic projects in the field of transportation, mostly in Air Traffic Management (ATM).
Research
My research's focus continues in the area of Air Traffic Management, with current and recent studies funded by organisations such as: EUROCONTROL (both EEC and HQ), SESAR Joint Undertaking, the European Commission (Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe), UKRI (Horizon Europe guarantee), NATS, and the former UK Department of Trade and Industry.
Research projects have encompassed technical studies and cost-benefit analyses (such as Dynamic Cost Indexing), ATC benchmarking, and behavioural studies, including the calculation of standard reference values for the cost of delay to European airlines.
