Jeanette Nicholas LLB (Hons), LLM (LSE) Principal Lecturer, Careers Education & Employability
Jeanette Nicholas graduated in Law at the University of Westminster in 1992, and completed her LLM at the London School of Economics in 1993. Jeanette Nicholas is the module leader for Law of the European Union and Work Placement in a Legal Setting on the LLB course, and also teaches Legal Skills and career development planning. She is also currently responsible for careers education and employability at the Westminster Law School, and was one of the members of the Diversity in Law team, which provided placements in City law firms and in-house legal departments for undergraduate law students. She recently took part in a UKCLE project funded by JISC on the use of e-portfolios in legal education and piloted the use of software used to facilitate personal development planning, and has also collaborated with the University's Educational Liaison on its AimHigher programme, funded by HEFCE. She is the LLB Admissions Tutor, an elected member of Academic Council from 2009-2013 and also a member of the School's teaching and learning and marketing committees.
