About me
I am a neurodiverse academic who worked as a musician before studying psychology. My primary research interests include the psychology of conspiracy theories, online misinformation, and human reasoning. I also investigate personality traits associated with differences in social cognitive functioning (e.g., non-clinical autism-like traits & schizotypal traits).
Teaching
I am an experienced lecturer and teacher, having taught on a range of undergraduate and postgraduate classes. These include Clinical Neuropsychology, Cognitive Psychology, Social Psychology, Individual Differences, and Biological psychology. I also have experience supervising final-year undergraduate psychology projects.
Research
My doctoral research project explored non-clinical schizotypy and reasoning biases as potential risk factors associated with receptivity to online political misinformation. I have also contributed to several published studies that have similarly explored the dynamics of online misinformation vulnerability and individual differences.
