About me

Alan Michael Fenton BA (Hons), MA Business Law, CNAA Cert in Education, FHEA, Solicitor (non-practising) is a Lecturer in Law at the University of Westminster and has been teaching at the Law School since 2010. Alan originally lectured in Banking and Insurance law but has more recently practiced as an employment lawyer and after admission as a Solicitor in 2001 quickly rose to Head of Employment at a medium sized practice in the West Country. During this period Alan was instrumental in creating an evening law clinic in the areas of employment and family law in the city of Bath.

Alan's interests include Arsenal, tennis, opera and classical music.

Teaching

Alan currently lectures in Contract, Consumer, European Union and Employment Law and supervises undergraduate dissertations.

Alan has run the full time Contract and European Law modules of the Solicitors Exempting Degree and is currently Module Leader of LLB Consumer Law as well as being Cilex Level 6 Module Leader.
