About me
Yang joined the School as a Lecturer in Accounting and Finance in September 2021. Prior to that, Yang earned her PhD in Finance from the University of Aberdeen (UK) and an MSc degree with Distinction in Accounting and Finance from the University of Surrey (UK). Yang has worked as a visiting lecturer at UCL in the subject of ESG and previously worked as a research teaching assistant at the University of Aberdeen. Her research interests lie in the fields of cryptocurrency, ESG, and empirical corporate finance.

Research
Yang research interests include the traditional corporate finance and Fintech in particular on cryptocurrency and blockchain.
Yang collaborated with researchers in Computer Science and Engineering on Blockchain-enabled privacy-preserving contact tracing for the COVID-19 pandemic, published in a top journal in Engineering and received funding from a USA company for developing the testing platform and mobile phone App.
