Research
Busra Akcan has research interests in financial structure, climate finance, and digitalisation. During her master’s studies, she investigated the impact of FinTech on the profitability of UK banks, using fixed and random effect models to analyse the return on assets (ROA) and the return on equity (ROE) variables. This research deepened her interest in financial performance and digitalisation, and these areas continue to drive her doctoral research project.
