The course I studied has been highly influential in my self-development and in the development of my career.

What are you doing now?

I am working as Project Support for a shop fitting company that has projects across the UK and in Europe working with clients such as Arcadia, Hackett and Topps Tiles.

What did you find most valuable about your course at Westminster? How did the skills you learnt during your degree help you to shape your career?

The course I studied has been highly influential in my self-development and in the development of my career. Much of what I learnt was related to our everyday lives and has helped me make decisions that will be beneficial in fulfilling my personal goals as well as career goals. During my third year at Westminster, I took on a module on International Project Management that triggered my interest in project management. From this, I was able to go into the career I am in today and I love it!

Why would you recommend Westminster as a place to study?

The methods used in our learning process helped us learn in a way that was more hands-on and can not only be applied to our future career but if you're not sure it can also help to trigger your interests in what type of career you want to go into. There is lots of support from the University and the location is great for networking as well as gaining friends from across the world.

What was the best thing about being a student in London?

The location and networking. London is the business capital of Europe, you couldn't be in a better place to start your business career. During my time in London, I made great contacts that also influenced me in my career.

What extra-curricular activities did you participate in that enhanced your time at the University?

Attending speaker events where a companies and individuals came to give us insights on what they do and even provided us with career opportunities.

What advice would you give to someone thinking of pursuing a similar career?

This path can open many doors to opportunities for future career and personal development.

Is there anything else you would like to tell us?

The life experience I gained from studying in London was amazing and shaped me into who I am today.
