What are you doing now?
I am a Brand and Sales Coordinator at Sanrio Company Ltd. Sanrio Company Ltd incorporates several worldwide known brands such as Hello Kitty and Mr Men Little Miss. I work on all the brands across several sectors: commercial, marketing and social media.
What did you find most valuable about your course at Westminster? How did the skills you learnt during your degree help you to shape your career?
In my job working as a team is essential. Group projects at Westminster helped me improve my communication and public speaking skills.
What was the best thing about being a student in London?
London is a huge international city where you can never get bored. While at Westminster, I was always finding new events to attend and meeting new people. I have been in London for 10 years now and I always discover new things to do!
What extra-curricular activities did you participate in that enhanced your time at the University?
At Westminster, I was a student ambassador and I was a volunteer for an environmental cause. I was also part of several societies: sport, debate & languages. Through these activities, I met a lot of interesting people and enhanced some of my skills which helps even today in my job and everyday life.
What advice would you give to someone thinking of pursuing a similar career?
Don't be shy! Going to events and putting yourself forward is the best way to make connections and find a job.

Is there anything else you would like to tell us?
Make the most of university: participate in extra-curriculum activities, make friends, go to events, get work experiences etc. University is the best way to prepare for working life whilst having a great time!
