The Menswear MA graduates presented their latest collections on 18 September 2023 at the British Fashion Council's NEWGEN show space. Alumni from both the Menswear MA and Fashion Design BA courses, including Steven Stokey-Daley, Priya Ahluwalia, Roberta Einer and Paolo Carzana, also hosted their own runway shows showcasing collections for Spring Summer 2024 during London Fashion Week.

Participating students from the Menswear MA course were Dai Yueyang, Gyuwon Baek, Yuchen Yuan, Zackary Mahomo, Haiyang Yu, Nym Promprasert, Randy Wong, Lele, Jiwon Jang, Anyi Tang, Benjamin Lord, Xinyi Liu (tata), Yoshie and Xiaona Sun.

Gyuwon Baek said: “It’s one thing to publish my work on my personal space such as my social media handle; it’s another challenge to get them out there where there is an audience inside and outside the world of fashion. I was excited to see what kind of reactions and interactions my work could generate, even if just a small conversation at a dinner table. Fashion does its job when it is seen and appreciated in the eye of the beholder; being part of the LFW show for the first time was a grateful start to that journey.”

Benjamin Lord said: “I want to work at a major fashion house as part of their menswear team. The course has prepared me for this environment by bringing in a myriad of different tutors that are currently working in the industry. Working with these people has given me great insight into the industry.”

Xinyi Liu said: “This show does not feel like a curtain call; it’s more like a beginning.”
