Professor Andrew Groves, Professor of Fashion Design at the University of Westminster, spoke to the Evening Standard about Harry Styles’ fashion evolution and his impact on the world.

The article, which was released on the British singer’s 30th birthday, explored how Harry Styles’ fashion sense has swept the globe just as much as his music. With constant speculation on his outfits and haircuts, the article details how he has become a cultural icon since he appeared on the X-Factor stage in 2014.

Looking at Styles, along with his stylist Harry Lambert and Westminster’s own alumnus Steven Stokey-Daley, whose brand Styles invested in in January, Professor Andrew Groves said: “[They have an] interesting dynamic with each of them allowing the others to use fashion and dress as a means of shifting the cultural norms around menswear.”
