Dr Matthew Morrison and Professor Guy Osborn continued their Disrupt Your Everyday activities with a Christmas playlist and twitter commentary inspired by Tim Burgess’ twitter listening parties.

Professor Pippa Catterall organised two workshops in December relating to her Arup-funded project on 'Queering Public Space'. With her colleague Dr Ammar Azzouz (Arup/Oxford University) they hosted leading academics and architects in Britain and North America respectively to talk about the planning and design for inclusivity in public space. Pippa herself gave a paper at one of these entitled '"Even the Buildings are Homophobic": Queerying Design in Public Space'. Pippa also published an article on 'Religion and the Rise of Mass Democracy in Britain' Contemporary British History 34/4 (2020), 510-28.
