Doctoral Researcher Symposium on Migration and Diaspora poster.

About the event

Situated at the heart of global London, the University of Westminster has a long tradition of conducting migration and diaspora related research from diverse disciplinary backgrounds. Building on the success of the 2021 Many Faces of Migration: An Interdisciplinary Unconference organised by HOMELandS in collaboration with the University’s Research Communities, this one-day symposium will bring together Doctoral Researchers and academics from different Colleges and Schools to highlight research of migration and diaspora in the UK and beyond.

We will discuss how to support and further develop impactful interdisciplinary doctoral research on migration and diaspora and how in tun this can make a difference to wider communities outside of academia. While the symposium is organised as an internal event, it is open to Doctoral Researchers from other universities and the general public.
