Zone29

Zone29 is your new home of careers and enterprise at Westminster. It’s our overarching brand for the support we provide in this area.

Your Zone29 building is set to open its doors in spring 2026. For students and graduates, it will be a place to build career skills, develop business ideas, meet employers and make connections. For businesses and organisations, it will be a destination to deliver events and activities, and to meet you – our enterprising, talented and diverse student community.    

Your new Zone29 website is your gateway to all our work-related programmes, opportunities and experiences at Westminster. Whether you’re looking for a part-time job, volunteering role, work experience, or trying to decide what to do next after graduation, make Zone29 your starting point.

The website sets out everything on offer at Westminster under our three pillars – Get career ready, Find jobs and experiences and Start or grow a business.

CareerZone

When you're ready to dive into the details – job and opportunity listings, in-depth resources and tailored support – set up your personalised dashboard on CareerZone and receive the information and updates that matter most to you.    

If you’re a returning student, you’ll recognise CareerZone as our renamed Engage platform for exploring job vacancies and booking appointments, workshops and events.  

For consistency, CareerZone is also the new name of our careers e-newsletter and blog. And it informs our refreshed and more consistent careers presence on social media: @uniwestminstercareerzone on Instagram and University of Westminster CareerZone on LinkedIn  – follow both for all the latest updates. 

The Westminster Award 

From speaking to students, we know that you prefer more direct and practical terms such as ‘jobs’ and ‘careers’ to ‘employability’. That’s why we’ve changed the name of our Westminster Employability Award to The Westminster Award.
