The mental health charity Student Minds will receive £7,014 thanks to our Westminster final year undergraduates who completed this year’s National Student Survey.

The annual National Student Survey (NSS) offers every final year undergraduate student in the UK the opportunity to provide feedback on their course and experience at their university.
The survey, which runs from January to April, helps us to improve the experience at Westminster for both current students and those who will join us in the future.
This year again, we pledged to donate £2 for every student who completed the NSS to the mental health charity Student Minds. 3,507 Westminster final year undergraduates participated and helped us reach a total of £7,014 in donations for the charity.
Student Minds is a charity close to our Westminster values, empowering students across the UK to build their own mental health toolkit, and support themselves and their peers through university life and beyond.
At Westminster, wellbeing is one of our key priorities, and we’re committed to providing a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where all our students can fulfil their potential.
Kate Mitchell, Fundraising and Development Lead at Student Minds, said: “We are so incredibly grateful to everyone at the University of Westminster for your dedicated, ongoing support of Student Minds through NSS donations. Your generosity enables us to continue making progress towards our shared goal of creating the conditions where every student can thrive at university and beyond.”
The National Student Survey is conducted annually across all publicly funded higher education institutions in the UK. The results of this year’s survey will be available in July 2026.
