The mental health charity Student Minds will receive £6,870 thanks to our Westminster final year undergraduates who completed this year’s National Student Survey.

The annual National Student Survey (NSS) offers every final year undergraduate student in the UK the opportunity to provide feedback on their course and experience at their university.
The survey, which runs from January to April, helps us to improve the experience at Westminster for both current students and those who will join us in the future.
This year again, we pledged to donate £2 for every student who completed the NSS to the mental health charity Student Minds. 3,435 Westminster final year undergraduates participated and helped us reach a total of £6,870 in donations for the charity.
Student Minds is a charity close to our Westminster values, empowering students across the UK to build their own mental health toolkit, and support themselves and their peers through university life and beyond.
At Westminster, wellbeing is one of our key priorities, and we’re committed to providing a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where all our students can fulfill their potential.
Student Minds said about the donation: “We’re so extremely grateful to the students and colleagues at the University of Westminster for their ongoing support of Student Minds through the NSS!
“With academic pressures, financial challenges and loneliness, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed at university.
“The incredible total of £6,870 Westminster has raised will make a huge difference. Their generosity means we can ensure more students across the country are able to thrive at university. On behalf of everyone here at Student Minds, thank you.”
The National Student Survey is conducted annually across all publicly funded higher education institutions in the UK. The results of this year’s survey will be available in July 2025.
