University Mental Health Day 2026: Save the Date!

Join us for University Mental Health Day 2026 on Thursday 12 March, as we open our welcoming ‘Community Corners’ at Harrow and Marylebone campuses.

University Mental Health Day is a national campaign led by Student Minds and the University Mental Health Advisers Network (UMHAN). This initiative aims to encourage open conversations, raise awareness and break down the stigma surrounding mental health and wellbeing.

As part of the day, we will be hosting a relaxed, drop in event giving students a supportive space to meet others, take a break, and explore ways to look after their wellbeing.

What’s happening on the day?

Come along for:

Student Support Services

  • Wellbeing Team: friendly conversations, wellbeing advice, and signposting
  • Counselling and Mental Health: Information on emotional support and how to register for support
  • Disability Learning Support (DLS): guidance on learning adjustments and disability support
  • Financial Support and Funding Advice: a chance to ask questions, discuss concerns, or explore funding options

NHS Support Services

  • Opportunities to speak with NHS wellbeing partners and find out about local mental health resources and referral pathways

Students’ Union (UWSU)

  • Meet UWSU colleagues and learn about societies, activities, campaigns, and wellbeing initiatives

Mood boosting activities

  • Light, relaxing activities designed to encourage connection and help you pause and recharge
  • Space to meet new people, get creative, or simply take a breather

Whether you're looking for advice, wanting to learn more about mental health resources, or simply need a calm moment in your day, our doors are open.
