We’re proud to support Pride Month this June as part of our year-round programme of events, activities and resources that celebrate and strengthen our inclusive community at Westminster.

About Pride Month
Pride Month is annually celebrated and dedicated to LGBTQ+ culture, honouring the community's history, advocating for equal rights, reminding us about past struggles for acceptance, continuing to fight against discrimination and raising awareness for LGBTQ+ issues worldwide.
June was chosen as it commemorates the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in New York City. The first anniversary of these events was marked in 1970 with the Christopher Street Liberation Day March, which has now evolved into the global Pride parades we celebrate today.
