The Academic Engagement and Learning Development team offers support to improve academic and lifelong skills, including academic writing, research and study skills.
These services are open to all students and include the following support:
- Workshops on research, essay writing, report writing, reflective writing, dissertation writing, academic language, English sentences and punctuation, references and plagiarism, time management, exam skills, online learning, and many more. Delivered via Blackboard Collaborate.
- One-to-one appointments and email feedback. Delivered via Blackboard Collaborate, in person, or by email.
- Studiosity feedback on academic writing and chat on English writing, maths, science and study organisation, operating 24/7. You can access it via Blackboard under the 'Books and Tools' section.
- Online guides featuring step-by-step guidance, activities and videos to succeed at your assessments.
