About the Festival

The WeNetwork Inclusion & Diversity Festival is an annual event organised to showcase, inspire and advocate for diversity and inclusion in industry and entrepreneurship.

The festival will be delivered through a series of online and in-person events from 1 - 2 November 2022 highlighting the career paths of successful, diverse, industry leaders and entrepreneurs. The festival also offers workshops to equip students with the confidence and toolkits to define, prepare and work towards their career goals.

The events

  • Thrive as a Female Founder or Freelancer - Tuesday 1 November, 5:30-7:30pm (online)

This session will explore how females are represented in the entrepreneurship and freelancing sector. We will look at personal stories and support networks which allowed the speakers to achieve their goals.

  • Your Unique Self: Defining Your Unique Personal Brand - Wednesday 2 November, 2-5pm (in-person)

This in-person session will look at how you can leverage today and tomorrow's digital platforms to create your mark online. We will explore the creator economy and how it unlocked new entrepreneurial careers and discuss the importance of networking and putting yourself out there.

  • Representation & Equality in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship - Wednesday 2 November, 6-8pm (online)

This session will look at the current state of representation and equality in the enterprising sector. We will look at personal journeys to becoming an entrepreneur/freelancer from a diverse background. We will dive into the importance of representation and equality and practical tips to encourage more diverse talent in this sector.
