All students of all faiths and none are invited to our Remembrance commemoration at 11am on Wednesday 11 November.
To join together as a community and observe a silence wherever they are, shutting down devices and turning attention inwards to contemplate the sacrifices made by others.
What to expect:
- 11am: two minutes' silence across campuses and digital platforms
- Following the silence: remembrance gathering, laying wreaths at our war memorials in the Foyer of the Regent Campus.
All are welcome to join this gathering where we will come together as a community to remember those who have died in conflict. The commemoration will comprise a few contemplative readings and music which represent our gratitude for diversity and the shared human longing for peace and greater tolerance.
