The Volunteering Services team, who is part of the Careers and Employability Service, invites you to a vibrant panel and networking event at the Regent Street campus on Wednesday 14 February.

Immerse yourself in insights shared by a diverse panel of experts from the charity sector. They’ll provide industry insights explaining why nearly a million people in the UK have chosen to work within the sector, the available graduate opportunities, and ways to convert volunteering into paid work.

  • Listen to the journeys of individuals well established in their industries as well as organisations supporting causes you care about
  • Explore the diverse array of salaried roles available within the charity sector
  • Discover how to navigate salaried roles post-graduation
  • Learn about the many volunteering roles, which exist offering transferrable professional/graduate level skill development
  • Understand what separates a charity from a trust, and a non-profit from a social enterprise
  • Engage with our speakers, glean insights from their experiences, and expand your network

  • 2.30–3:30pm – Networking and refreshments held in the Old Gym, at Regent Street campus (next to the Hideaway)
