About me
Shubin Yang joined Westminster Business School as a Lecturer in Economics in August 2022. Before that, she worked as a Lecturer in Central China Normal University. She obtained her PhD in Economics from the University of Nottingham, and her MSc and BSc in Economics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China. She is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Research
Shubin’s research mainly focuses on empirical studies related to international trade and development economics, particularly on trade and productivity, financing sources and firms’ export and innovation decisions.
