About me
Di Xiao is a Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at the University of Westminster, where she also serves as Course Leader for the MSc Accounting and Finance programme. She completed her undergraduate studies in Accounting and Finance at the University of Exeter, followed by a master’s degree in International Financial Management at the University of Surrey. She was awarded a PhD in Finance from the University of Birmingham in 2019. Before joining Westminster in 2024, she was a Lecturer at Coventry University.
Teaching
She has experience teaching a wide range of finance-related modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including Introduction to Finance, Securities Analysis, Ethics and Corporate Governance, and Wealth Management.
Research
Di Xiao’s research interests span corporate governance, corporate finance, and related areas. Her work has been presented at academic conferences, and she has published in the International Journal of Finance & Economics.
