About me
Dr Kristina Vasileva is Assistant Head of School for Finance and Accounting at Westminster Business School, where she has taught and led for more than a decade. Her research and teaching centre on behavioural finance and corporate finance, exploring how psychology and judgement shape financial decision-making — from individual investors to boardrooms and international markets. She holds a PhD in Finance from Bayes Business School, City and St. George's University of London. Between 2019 and 2024, Kristina served as WBS PhD Programme Coordinator, and from 2022 to 2024, chaired the Research Degree and Progression Committee (RDPC). She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and remains committed to developing the next generation of finance academics.
