About me

I am a cinematographer and lecturer who's passion lies in visual storytelling.  Film has the ability to transport us, it is a way to find meaning and connection with people and the world.  I love sharing this passion with students, working with them as young filmmakers as they navigate the stories they want to tell and consider how they want to tell them.

I have experience shooting feature narrative and documentary films, short films, music videos, commercials, corporate, fashion, and EPK projects. My work has screened internationally on television (Lifetime and Aljazeera Documentary Network), across a range of festivals (Heartlands, London Short Film Festival, Aesthetica, Warsaw, Ilfracombe), on Industry leading organisation websites (Selfridges & Billboard) as well as on UK Cinema Screens.  In 2018 I received my first TV credit on AlJazeera's documentary channel; Students Across the Ocean explored themes of isolation and integration as we followed Arab students studying in the USA.  In 2025 an independent British Feature I lensed received a UK cinema release; and national reviews. This was a highly unique and collaborative project that hired recently graduated students alongside more experienced industry professionals.   The goal was to champion regional storytelling and talent, both in front and behind the camera. This project was part of the BFI's LFF Works in Progress showcase in 2024.  Helping to develop students access, knowledge and skills are fundamental to my practice.

I hold an MFA from Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, a PGCHE, and HEA Fellowship (FHEA)

I am a member of BAFTA Connect and Illuminatrix Rising - a collective of professional female cinematographers based in the UK and working internationally.
