About me

I am a cinematographer and lecturer passionate about visual storytelling. Film has the power to transport us, it is a way to find meaning and connection with people and the world.  It is this essence of the craft that I love to share with my students.

My experience includes shooting feature narratives, documentaries, short films, music videos, commercials, and corporate projects. My work has screened internationally on platforms such as Lifetime and Al Jazeera Documentary Network, at festivals like Heartlands, Warsaw and Aesthetica, and on websites like Selfridges and Billboard. In 2018, I received my first TV credit on Al Jazeera's documentary channel for Students Across the Ocean; a film in which we explored themes of isolation and integration among Arab students in the USA. In 2025, an independent feature I lensed received a UK cinema release and garnered national reviews. This unique project combined recent graduates with experienced professionals to champion regional storytelling and talent, it was featured in the BFI's LFF Works in Progress showcase in 2024.

I hold an MFA from Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, a PGCHE, and an HEA Fellowship (FHEA). I am also a member of BAFTA Connect and Illuminatrix Rising, a collective of professional and emerging female cinematographers working across the UK and internationally.
