About me

Nwe Zin Thein Shaung joined the University of Westminster as a Visiting Lecturer in 2023, during her Master's studies. She has extensive experience in HR and recruitment, having held various roles in the field for over a decade. Her passion for management and education led her to shift her career to academia, where she has been able to apply her professional experience to teaching and research.

Nwe holds a Master of Arts in Management with Distinction and a Master of Arts in International Human Resource Management, both from the University of Westminster. She is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).

Before her academic career, Nwe held leadership roles in HR and recruitment. She also served as a Career Management Officer and Employee Relations Officer, focusing on promotions, talent development, and labour law compliance. In her role as a Senior Talent Acquisition Associate at Myanmar Human Capital Solutions, she specialised in strategic headhunting.
