About me
Dr Farlon Jeanine Rahaman is a Senior Lecturer in Digital Business at Westminster Business School. She joined the University of Westminster in 2018 after completing her PhD in Supplier Selection in Malaysian manufacturing companies. Her doctoral research focused on how information technology, business intelligence and theoretical artificial intelligence tools can support supplier selection, decision-making and digital transformation within manufacturing contexts.
Farlon’s academic and professional interests include digital business, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, generative AI, and digital innovation. She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and has experience in teaching, course leadership, curriculum development and quality enhancement.
Teaching
Farlon teaches and leads Digital Business modules across different levels of study. Her teaching is shaped by a commitment to creating engaging, supportive and professionally relevant learning experiences that help students connect theory with contemporary digital business practice.
Research
Farlon’s research interests include digital transformation, artificial intelligence, generative AI, and digital innovation.
