About me
Naveeda is a Senior Lecturer in Economics at the School of Organisations, Economy and Society (SOES) at Westminster Business School. She is a Fellow of Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and has extensive experience of teaching economics and business modules at the UK and international Universities.
Naveeda currently teaches Microeconomics, Global Economic Issues, Labour Markets at the undergraduate level, and Sustainable Energy Policy, Sustainability Analytics and Reporting at the postgraduate level. Previously, she has worked as an online instructor for the University of Liverpool to teach energy economics, managing energy sources and managerial economics at postgraduate level. She also delivers lectures at senior corporate levels. Prior to that she has been involved in various academic and research assignments in the UK, Japan and Pakistan.
She holds a PhD from Mie University Japan which was supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science & Technology (MEXT), Japan. Her research areas and interests are energy policy, energy poverty, circular economy and sustainability, demand for energy and its impact on energy prices, economic development, financial inclusion and performance of banks. Number of her research papers have been published in the journals and presented in international conferences.
