About me
Paresh Parmar is a registered architect who established his practice, Studio PYP, in 2021, specialising in residential architecture. He previously worked at Holloway Li as a Project Architect for several high-end private residential and hospitality projects, as well as within client advisory sectors.
Paresh began teaching at the University of Westminster in 2021 and currently leads design studio teaching on the BSc Architecture and Environmental Design and BSc Architectural Technology courses. Paresh has previously contributed to the Architecture MA, Interior Architecture MA and Architecture Postgraduate Diploma Professional Practice (Part 3) programmes.
His academic and professional interests lie in regenerative, sustainable and environmental design, with an emphasis on drawing representation and visual communication. His teaching approach is collaborative and reflective, encouraging students to develop environmentally responsible and contextually considered designs, underpinned by a narrative, innovation and ethics.
