Teaching
Senior Lecturer in Immersive and Interactive Audio and Media.
Leads specialist postgraduate teaching in immersive and spatial audio, interactive and game audio, XR, and creative technologies, alongside supervision of final projects in these areas. Wider teaching experience spans sound and music production, composition and sound art, game and interactive media development, mobile application development, UX/UI and experience design, and creative concept development.
Research
Research interests include immersive and spatial audio, interactive audio, digital signal processing, XR, human-computer interaction, and digital and physical musical instrument design. Current research, funded by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), investigates auditory hypersensitivity, neurodiversity, and interactive spatial audio for therapeutic and accessibility applications.
