About me
Sovan is active in teaching and researching in the area of Finance and related subject areas. Sovan has taught and researched at a wide range of institutions in the UK, and has been awarded visiting positions at other Universities.
Teaching
Sovan has taught a wide range of modules related to business, finance and management. This has included teaching at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate level, and at a range of institutions. Sovan has also obtained the Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Research
Sovan has published in a number of journals, including international and high ranking journals, in a range of areas in Finance. Sovan is interested in Theoretical Finance, Empirical Finance as well as social/business aspects of Finance. Sovan is particularly interested in financial markets, risk analysis, operational research or theoretical methods applied to finance.
