About me

Evgeniya is a Principal Lecturer in Management, Leadership and Strategy and a Director of Teaching, Learning and Quality at the School of Management and Marketing, Westminster Business School (WBS), University of Westminster, London, UK. 

Evgeniya is passionate about student learning experience and wellbeing. As an educator who values student voice she has supported ‘Students as Co-Creators’ projects at WBS as academic partner.

Evgeniya is currently doing a PhD in Higher Educational Research at Lancaster University. Her previous education includes a Bachelor’s Degree with Distinction in Business Management and three Masters degrees, including an MPhil in Entrepreneurship.

Teaching

Evgeniya has extensive course leadership and module leadership experience when she has lead large teams of academics (c. 30) and students (c. 1300). In the past Evgeniya has lead the biggest UG course at WBS - BA Business Management, and several mega modules, including Professional Competences, Foundations of Management and Managing People.  

In her current role as a Director of Teaching, Learning and Quality Evgeniya is supporting and leading course leaders and other colleagues with the focus on overall student experience.

Evgeniya is a personal tutor to many undergraduate students. She has also been supervising student research projects and dissertations at UG and Masters levels. 

Evgeniya is currently the module leader for the module Strategic Management at WBS. 

Evgeniya has been teaching various modules at WBS in the subjects related to: 

  • management and leadership, 
  • organisational behaviour, 
  • human resource management, 
  • strategy and 
  • business research. 

Research

Evgeniya's current research interests are:

  • Higher education
  • Leadership and management, including leadership in Higher Education
  • Entrepreneurship, including social and ethnic entrepreneurship
