Teaching
I teach and supervise research across undergraduate, Master's, and PhD programmes. In addition, I am Module Leader for two core modules on the BSc (Hons) Psychology programme and one core module on the MSc Health Psychology programme.
My teaching focuses on biological psychology, cognitive neuroscience, and statistical analysis.
Research
My research explores the relationships between biological rhythms (e.g. sleep, exercise, stress) and cognitive performance, with a particular interest in memory, especially inhibitory processes. My current research interests include:
- Associations between stress, cortisol secretion and cognitive performance
- Intrusive memories and hallucination proneness
- Autobiographical memory for video gaming experiences
