About me
I am originally from Newcastle where I completed my LLB (with Environment) at Northumbria University. I then moved across to Newcastle University to undertake an Environmental law LLM. I completed my PhD at the University of Manchester where I examined the legal history of assisted dying law through the lens of Michel Foucault's concepts of (medical) power, discourse and knowledge.
Teaching
I have teaching capacities in land, equity, medical law and UG/PGT dissertations.
Research
My research centres on challenging assumed knowledge in the assisted dying debate, deploying critical/continental philosophy lenses to elucidate unremarked contexts.
