About me

I am a lecturer with extensive teaching experience at Westminster Business School. Prior to this, I worked for many years as a professional accountant/manager in the energy sector for UK subsidiaries of leading multinational organisations such as Chevron Corporation (Texaco UK), Hess Corporation and PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers). I am especially proud of my achievement when I helped to migrate financial processes to PwC’s first Shared Service Centre in the UK. Clients included Total Energies (formerly Elf) and National Australia Bank. As a Senior Auditor, I conducted assignments for several UK and International divisions in the private sector and also the public sector including the British Council (Madrid, Taiwan and Hong Kong offices), the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and two local authorities.

I am passionate about the student learning experience. My in-depth work experience has enabled me to impact students’ employability by teaching and sharing many scenarios / examples that reflect industry practice, thus helping to hone their areas of interest as many of them aspire to become professional accountants.

I am a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).
