Dr Hardley joined the University of Westminster as a Senior Lecturer in Marketing in 2009. Prior to joining the University Felicity undertook both teaching at an academic level and more recently was focused on consulting to the business community. Once Felicity began her PhD in Marketing (2000) she commenced teaching a variety of subjects at Monash University including Strategic Marketing and Marketing Management. During this time Felicity also worked as a research associate at the Australian Food Marketing Centre where she focused on the impact of functional food and functional food endorsements on consumer behaviour. This research resulted in a publication in the Journal of Consumer Marketing. Following her time at Monash University Felicity then went on to a career in market research and strategy consulting. While working for a Melbourne based agency, Felicity was heavily involved in a variety of strategic and market intelligence projects across industries including telecommunications, logistics, banking and finance and the pharmaceutical industry. Felicity's interest in the health care environment led her to more entrepreneurial endevours where she co-founded an agency specialising in the health environment. Her work with both pharmaceutical companies, food companies and Peak Associations at the Federal Government level led Felicity to be a highly respected consultant to the Australian pharma industry particularly regarding institutional relationships and image. Felicity has also undertaken research on medication adherence behaviours the results of which are soon to be published in medical journals.
