- Centre for Parallel Computing
About me
I am a Senior Lecturer in the School of Computer Science and Engineering. I hold a BA Honours degree in Business Administration and an MSc degree in Information Systems. I have extensive experience in the Higher Education. I have many years of teaching, course management and supervision experience. I have also taken on leadership roles on student employability. I am currently the Director of Employability for the School of Computer Science and Engineering.
I am member of the University Research Centre for Parallel Computing (CPC). Since I joined the CPC, I worked on the European CloudSME (Cloud-based Simulation Platform for Manufacturing and Engineering) project. The CloudSME project developed a Cloud-based simulation solution for manufacturing and engineering SMEs where I worked as the Requirements Expert. I am currently working on the EU H2020 CloudiFacturing (Cloudification of Production Engineering for Predictive Digital Manufacturing) project that brings and progresses advanced information and communications technology in the field of cloud-based modelling and simulation, data analytics for online factory data, and real-time support to European manufacturing SMEs. My role in the CloudiFacturing project again relates to the collection and analysis of requirements.
