About me

I am a singer-songwriter working across songwriting, performance and DIY artistry. I have released three full-length albums - Telling Tales, Fidelity & Grace and Telling Truths - through my own record label, founded when I was 18. My work has received critical acclaim from publications including Pitchfork and The Independent, which described my songwriting as “pitch perfect pop.”

BBC Radio 2 has been a strong supporter of my independent music, with the late Sir Terry Wogan among its early champions. This was followed by multiple playlisted releases and a BBC Radio 2 Record of the Week. My music has accumulated over 40 million streams worldwide. Live performance is central to my artistic practice, and I have completed three UK tours across 2024 and 2025.

I have collaborated and toured alongside artists including Ed Sheeran (appearing as a guest vocalist on early releases such as Songs I Wrote With Amy) and supported major artists on European tours such as Sir Tom Jones, Katie Melua and Ben Howard.

Alongside my work as an artist, I lead the BA Music Production, Performance and Business degree at the University of Westminster. My creative practice directly informs my teaching, with a focus on songwriting, performance and sustainable, self-directed artistic careers.

Teaching

I am Director of Learning, Teaching and Quality for Westminster School of Arts and Course Leader for the BA Music Production, Performance and Business at the University of Westminster.

I teach and specialise in songwriting, performance and DIY artistry, supporting students to develop strong creative identities alongside professional, reflective and sustainable working practices.

My teaching focuses on authentic, real-world learning through portfolio-based assessment, collaborative projects and industry-led project briefs, emphasising creative process as much as finished outcomes. I take a student-centred and inclusive approach, using blended and flexible learning methods to support diverse learning needs.
