About me
I am a multidisciplinary artist and interdisciplinary researcher whose politically engaged practice encompasses sculptural installations, site-specific interventions, participatory events and collaborative projects. Grounded in a commitment to art’s capacity to challenge dominant histories and ideologies, my work is driven by a sustained engagement with materials and process. Building on earlier projects that employed colonial commodities to critique nostalgic narratives of Empire, my current research focuses on porcelain as both a conceptual and material lens through which to interrogate ideological whiteness. This inquiry positions porcelain within a broader framework of antiracist praxis, exploring how material histories can be mobilised to disrupt enduring structures of power and exclusion.
