About me

After training in different therapeutic modalities including psychodynamic psychotherapy and low-intensity cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), I completed a Masters in counselling psychology and qualified as a Clinical Psychologist at the Salomons Centre, Canterbury Christ Church University in 2018. I developed a particular interest in trauma and community approaches to mental health, which informed my research with women who have experienced human trafficking. Through my clinical practice in the NHS and being taught by some inspiring clinicians and psychologists, I came to understand experiences of psychological distress as meaningful responses to difficult life circumstances. I have a passion for teaching and research and greatly enjoy meeting new students.
