About me
Susanne is an architect, course leader of the PG Diploma Professional Practice in Architecture (RIBA Part III) and Director of Employability of the School of Architecture and Cities.
Susanne received her Diploma in Architecture from the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences, a Master of Arts in Histories and Theories of Architecture from the Architectural Association and a PhD from The London Consortium, University of London. She was a Visiting Scholar at Columbia GSAPP in New York, a Visiting Scholar at the CCA in Montréal and a Post-Doctoral Scholar at the Federal University of Uberlândia in Brazil.
She has practiced in offices in the UK, US and Germany and previously taught at Norwich University of the Arts and Birmingham City University.
Teaching
Susanne's teaching interests range from Professional Practice in Architecture to History and Theory of Architecture. She is involved in UG and PG teaching.
Research
Susanne welcomes PhD applications in the broad area of Architectural History and/or Architectural Theory of the 20th Century.
