Mirjana Popovic"Studying for the MSc in Finance and Accounting was challenging, to say the least, as I came from a different background.  I had already completed an MBA which gave me an overview of different aspects of business, but this MSc taught me about the financial side of things which I did not learn doing the MBA.  The vast amount of knowledge I gained in both finance and accounting has not only brought me a promotion at work, but has also made me feel much more confident in everyday life. This degree was absolutely worth every penny and every minute of my time!"

"Prior to IDFC, I served the Secretariat of the Government of India's High Powered Expert Committee on Urban Infrastructure which prepared the Report on Indian Urban Infrastructure & Services in 2011. Earlier, I was a management consultant with Ernst & Young in Dubai, where I held a manager position with EY's Advisory Services.

I was invited to advise the Government on various aspects of urban infrastructure and have been a panelist on a number of policy forums in the country. I also authored a number of papers on urban development in India.

I successfully studied for a Masters in Information Management and Finance at Westminster Business School, gaining a distinction after winning a scholarship. I have Bachelors in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the University of Calicut, Kerala.

Studying at the University of Westminster in such a multicultural environment opened up all sorts of possibilities as I finished my graduation. I have been particularly impressed by the accessibility of the staff. My stint at the Westminster Business School provided me with a broad array of skill sets required for analysing issues at a macro-organisational level. Studying in the heart of London ensured that I was always on top of my networking and people relationship skills which are fundamental to success in today's world."

"My student life at the University of Westminster made me self-motivated and I greatly enjoyed the independence, the campus, new friends, and a valued curriculum. This allowed me the challenge of independent living and study, which altogether was a huge enriching and rewarding experience.

British Education at the Undergraduate / Post graduate level at our University with its courses and qualifications are highly respected and valued all over the world. They provide a positive stepping stone and allow a competing edge when competing for jobs. This made me self-reliant through self-study and discipline.

A large scholarship program was available for both needy and deserving students.
My time at the University of Westminster gave me access to the state of the art libraries, and ultra-modern computing facilities.

The mix of students at the University gave me a multicultural experience as I had people from all over the world in my class as well as the halls of residence. These were students with different back grounds from UK and abroad, with different prospective, which added to my experience."
