Our MBA graduate Miranda Brawn, Director of Legal and Transaction Management at Daiwa Capital Market, was featured in the business education section of the Financial Times.

Born in London, Miranda is the Director of Legal and Transaction Management at Daiwa Capital Markets, the investment banking subsidiary of Daiwa Securities Group. Miranda studied her MBA with us, and was a speaker at our 30 Years of MBA celebration.
 
Miranda has worked at Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan Chase, Citigroup and Goldman Sachs, and cites Bill Gates as her greatest inspiration.

In her spare time, Miranda Brawn is interested in philanthropic and diversity issues. She is a patron for Black British Academics, which aims to increase the number of black professors in the UK, and a board member of the Association of Women Barristers and Women in Banking and Finance.

Of the Westminster Business School MBA programme, Miranda Brawn said that “the value of an MBA to women is that it leads to increased confidence and contentment in their career, with higher earning power, hence it is a great investment.”
